Grow your real estate business

How to adapt and stay successful

It’s no secret that the real estate market has begun to shift. The time of homes selling with little to no marketing is quickly coming to an end. This may be a frightening reality for real estate agents who have just started their career. However, seasoned agents know this is all part of a cycle. So how do you pivot successfully into this new season and grow your real estate business?

  1. Nurture your relationship with previous clients: Do you have a list of clients you have worked with in the past? If so, when was the last time you reached out to check in with them? A small card goes a long way to ensure that you are top of mind for referrals.
  2. Evaluate your marketing strategy: How are you promoting your business, what is it costing you and what do you get in return? Take a close look at your marketing strategy and be sure that they are bringing you value. We designed HomeTagz to be simple to use. But also provide robust analytics so you can track how buyers are finding your listings. For example, you can make a link for your listing that you only share on social media. Or another link (or QR code) that you only share on print materials. Then at the end of the month you can compare which was viewed more. If there is a clear winner, consider eliminating or reducing the inferior marketing effort.
  3. Embrace new technology: There are many different tools to choose from which have the capability to grow your real estate business. However, it’s a good idea to take some time to research the options and see what can save you time and money while creating a better experience for your clients. HomeTagz is a great place to start for several reasons. You can create robust listings in collaboration with your sellers which empowers your client, saves time and helps your listing stand out. You can also easily track how often your listings are being seen and where to adjust how you market your listings.
